The Subaru Legacy 3.6R comes in a total of three different trim levels. The Base, the Premium, and the Limited. The only differences between each one are the options that come included. Everything else remains the same based on reviews. For the Subaru Legacy 3.6R Premium trim you can expect an abundance of upgraded features from the base model. These include the new 17-inch alloy wheels, a steering wheel that is wrapped in leather, the windows being auto, a drivers seat that can be powered eight different ways, and an upgrade to the entire audio system. The upgrade to the audio system includes Bluetooth functionalities, a six-speaker sound system, and iPod capabilities. Still optional with the Premium trim are the All Weather package, power sunroof, navigation system, and Harman Kardon stereo system.

Along with the added speed and power comes the 18 city / 25 highway fuel economy. Not entirely the engines fault, this also has to do with the all-wheel drive functionality that comes included according to review. From the starting line, the Subaru Legacy 3.6R Premium Sedan manages to make an average time with zero to sixty in 7.1 seconds. All of this power is being controlled by the five-speed traditional automatic transmission which come standard on all 3.6R trims. Also coming included with the Subaru Legacy 3.6R Premium Sedan are the traction control features, large anti-lock disc brakes, and the airbags on all sides.
