    Overall

    I bought a 2004 Outback Limited when it was new but I also looked at the LL Bean and VDC. To my knowledge the LL Bean didn’t have VDC. The VDC was the most equipped, most expensive Outback you could buy. Now I think even their cheaper models have VDC.
