More Used Suzuki Truck Reviews / All Suzuki Cars

The Suzuki Equator currently offers four trim levels; the Equator RWD, Equator Comfort Package RWD, Equator Premium RWD and Equator Sport V6 4WD. The price ranges from $17,899 to $26,299 depending on the trim package. All four models feature a cargo bed volume of 33.5 cubic feet. Reviews favor the Equator Sport model for having a 4.0liter V6 engine compared to the other trim levels which only has a 2.5liter, 16-valve engine. Only the Sport carries a four-wheel drive feature while the other models include a rear-wheel drive. Reviews also showed how the Equator Sports is unrivaled by the other Equator packages for running 261hp with 281 lbs-ft torque against only 152hp and 171lbs-ft of torque. When it comes to towing capacity, the maximum load for the non-Sport model without the towing enhancements is 3500lbs which is pretty low. It is at 6300lbs for the Sport V6 4WD and that is quite remarkable compared to most of the pick-up trucks in the market today.

All the Suzuki Equator models pack features like rear overslung multi-leaf, four-wheel anti-lock brake system with electronic brake-force distribution, four disc brakes (wheel ventilated), energy-absorbing steering column, tire pressure monitoring system, power control accessory delay and many more. Suzuki made an effort in making sure that the Equator looks nice and included aesthetic specifications like chromed-finished rear bumper, chrome frame front grille, UV cut glass front and rear windows, privacy glass and rear door access. It is important to note that the Equator RWD trim doesn't include air conditioning which makes it under par compared to most trucks we have reviewed. Though the feature list is long for this truck, reviews doesn't really find them that impressive compared to other trucks.
