Poco got good very suddenly it seems. Some time between their first and second time they learned how to harmonize and began providing a very legitimate counterpart to CSN&Y, having less charisma than the LA charmers, but a more together flowing musical sound. This is a live album and it captures the group at their most bouncing moments.
Their sound, as Charles Loquidara says in his wonderful liner notes, "creates images of green hills, amber fields, rolling white clouds and a balanced planet." But Poco's optimism happily unlike CSN&Y's is tastefully understated and subservient to their musical talents. A good time, many layered, musical treat.

The first of two live albums, and consisting of mostly new material -- a major country-rock success, capturing not only the lyricism and upbeat approach of the band, but also the infectiously positive attitude of its fans. * * *

Deliverin' is the live flipside of Poco's 1970 eponomously-named debut, and shows how powerful a live group it was, even at its start. * * * *
