Assessment
The apprentice must achieve the following on-programme assessment requirements prior to Gateway:

Level 2 English and Maths

Developed their portfolio evidence

Completed CPD log including copies of any ILPs or training plans and any certificates achieved

Prepare for their Competency based interview

Gathered evidence of their CPD activities

Upon achievement of this qualification learners can progress into various job roles:

Office based
With training and experience, you could move into middle management and then senior management positions. A Team Leader or Supervisor may wish to think about a future career in Operations or Departmental management, progressing to Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager and Level 6 Chartered Manager.

Upon achievement of this qualification learners can progress into various job roles such as:

The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles. With further study, you could progress into roles in Business Management, Finance or Human Resources.
Learners can progress to Level 4 Associate Project Manager and then Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager.

You could move from small organisations to large public, private or voluntary sector HR departments. You could take further training through part-time study or an apprenticeship to become a human resources manager.

For the professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence, you must submit a portfolio of evidence

You could progress further within your vocation specialism and/or into roles involving the assessment and coaching of vocational learners. You could specialise in working with particular groups, like excluded students.
You could also move into more senior mentoring roles, with supervisory or co-ordinating duties. With further training, you might work in student advice and guidance, teaching, speech and language therapy, educational welfare, or social work.
You may also be eligible to progress onto a full teaching role within an education and training provider organisation.

You may wish to explore a business degree once the apprenticeship is completed.
