- Broncos retain Davis Webb and Jim Leonhard with big promotions
The Denver Broncos will not lose promising quarterbacks coach Davis Webb this offseason.
Webb, 30, was hired by Broncos head coach Sean Paytonin 2023 immediately after he retired from his backup quarterback role in the NFL. Webb has since drawn continuous praise from Denver's staff, and it won't be long before other NFL teams attempt to lure him away with a promotion.

For at least one more season, though, Webb will remain with the Broncos.
KUSA-TV's Mike Klis reported last month that the team was placing a priority on retaining Webb for the 2025 season. Denver also prioritized keeping defensive backs coach Jim Leonhard , who was overqualified for his 2024 position.
Webb and Leonhard are both staying with the team in 2025 after receiving big promotions . Webb was promoted to offensive pass game coordinator/quarterbacks and Leonhard was promoted to defensive pass game coordinator/assistant head coach. Those new titles undoubtedly came with big pay raises to keep the two coaches with the club.
Broncos offensive line coach Zach Striefalso received a big promotion to offensive run game coordinator/assistant head coach.

Webb, Leonhard and Strief have likely drawn interest from other teams, and managing to keep all three of them on staff is a big win for Payton.
