Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown took a step in the right direction on Thursday after working on a limited capacity, according to the day's report.
On Wednesday, Brown was unable to participate in practice due to a shoulder injury. The injury occurred near the end of the first half in the team's 17-10 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 3.
The Jaguars have not indicated whether or not Brown will play, but they have said Brown's potential absence would not alter the plan for two-way player WR/CB Travis Hunter .
Jacksonville has sustained numerous bumps and bruises over the first few weeks of the season, but has not dealt with a long-term injury yet. Receiver Brian Thomas Jr. remains on the injury report due to a wrist injury, but has practiced fully and has not been in danger of missing time.
The team lists plenty of players, including rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten . Still, Brown is the only player with a potentially significant enough injury to miss this week's contest against the San Francisco 49ers.
