The LeBron James sweepstakes continues through the second week of free agency, and teams still don't have a sense of where they fit in the race. There are six teams that were legitimately in the race , and it was the Cleveland Cavaliers , Miami Heat , Philadelphia 76ers , Golden State Warriors , Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets .
We've seen Rich Paul make a case for why those six teams have a chance at signing James, but we haven't seen those teams share their pitch themselves. One of the first to do so was the 76ers, as Bob Myers went on Paul's podcast and gave his pitch .
"If he was here I'd say 'I honestly believe this is your best chance to win. You have to decide all the other things that are equally important' — What I would just say is, if it's about winning, let's talk about this team. Because you can win here in Philadelphia ," Myers said.

Myers makes a good case, and with the 76ers recently acquiring Jaylen Brown , it would make even more sense for James to consider them. They already have a team that includes two All-Stars in Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid , and a rising young player in VJ Edgecombe , who had a strong rookie season.
James probably wouldn't have to do much if he joined the 76ers, and he would be more of a piece than anything. He could be another playmaker on the court with the rest of the team primarily trying to score, but that doesn't mean James won't go get his here and there.
Just as much as the 76ers could offer him a good chance at winning, the other teams that have been mentioned could offer him the same thing.
The feeling around the league is that the Cavs could be the frontrunners, but Myers looks to be trying however he can to pitch his team.
