Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant was carted off the field late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after taking a hard hit from cornerback Montaric Brown .
Nix threw a 1st-and-10 pass to Bryant on the second-to-last play of the game and the receiver took a brutal hit from Brown and stayed down on the ground. He was then loaded onto a cart and taken to an ambulance. Denver ran one more play before the clock expired in a 34-20 loss .
"You never wanna see somebody in that situation," Nix said during his postgame press conference. "I feel responsible because I threw it, and you can say it's part of the game, but you just never wanna see it. And you really pray he's okay and can be back out there soon as he can. It's just one of those things that you wish you could avoid, but that was a tough situation."
Broncos coach Sean Payton said during his press conference that Bryant had movement in his hands and legs . Bryant was taken to a local hospital with concussion-like symptoms, according to multiple reports. We will track future updates on Broncos Wire .
