The Bruins ' third-period comeback win turned what could have been a bad night in their playoff chase into a terrific one.
With eight games left, the Bruins (42-24-8) have 92 points, which puts them in the No. 1 wild card position in the Eastern Conference. They’re now four points ahead of the Blue Jackets (38-24-12), who have 88 points in the second wild card spot.

Boston is six points ahead of Ottawa (38-25-10), Detroit (39-26-8) and Philadelphia (37-24-12) who each have 86 points with nine games left. The Senators, Red Wings and Flyers are chasing the Blue Jackets for the last playoff spot.
The Bruins host Dallas on Tuesday.
