The Crew have re-signed Evan Bush , giving the veteran goalkeeper a one-year contract.
Bush, who joined the Crew in 2020 from the Vancouver Whitecaps , is entering his 16th MLS season and will be the oldest player on the roster at 39 years old.
"Evan exemplifies the qualities we value as a club," Crew general manager Issa Tall said in a statement. "We know his combined mentorship and competitive mentality will continue to strengthen our group and maintain our high standards heading into the 2026 season."
During the 2025 regular season, Bush started six games , recording 10 saves, conceding five goals, and earning two clean sheets.
Bush got the starting nod over Patrick Schulte in the Crew's second group stage game during Leagues Cup, helping secure a 3-1 victory over Liga MX's Club Puebla. The Crew were eliminated from the tournament at the end of the group stage.
A native of Concord Township in Northeast Ohio, Bush has transitioned into a mentorship role since returning to his home state.
"I wouldn't be doing this elsewhere at this point in my career," Bush said following the conclusion of the 2025 season. "Each year, I feel good about where I am physically and mentally, and as long as I still enjoy doing it, and still have a passion to do it, I think that's the most important thing."
