Jeffrey Viel provided some big help for the Ducks on Sunday en route to their overtime win over the Edmonton Oilers .
The former Bruins forward scored the game-tying goal for Anaheim when he took advantage of a rebound of John Carlson 's initial shot with 6:29 left in the third period.
It marked the second straight game Viel, who was traded to the Ducks in January , scored in.

The goal helped erase Edmonton's lead as the Ducks mounted a comeback in front of their home crowd.
Viel's goal helped force overtime where the Ducks eventually earned a 4-3 win and took a commanding 3-1 lead in their first-round Stanley Cup playoffs series, but it didn't come without controversy.
Ryan Poehling scored 2:29 into overtime after the puck was nudged under the skate of Oilers goalie Tristan Jarry . It led to a lenghty review by the officials to determine whether the puck fully crossed the line.
Several angles showed Jarry's skate obstructing a full view of the puck, but the off-ice officials in the situation room in Toronto determined there was enough evidence to uphold the goal.
A must-win Game 5 for the Oilers is set for Tuesday night.
