The New York Giants are one of the loudest teams in the rumor mill right now, with Day 2 of the NFL Draft underway. After selecting Arvell Reese No. 5 overall, rumors began circulating that the club could be looking to trade Kayvon Thibodeaux . With the buzz seemingly growing louder, the four-year veteran shared a cryptic message on his Instagram Story.

Thibodeaux, who is 25 years old, posted a clip from the “Fast and Furious” franchise of Vin Diesel’s and Paul Walker’s characters parting ways. The context for sharing the video is not entirely clear, as he could be saying goodbye to Dexter Lawrence , who the Giants traded to the Cincinnati Bengals . But with trade rumors swirling, it very well could be about that, too.
Trading Thibodeaux makes sense on paper. The Giants are loaded at edge rusher after acquiring Reese in the NFL Draft, when they already have Abdul Carter on the roster. That’s three talented edge rushers, and there may not be enough room for all three of them.
The New Orleans Saints are one team linked to Kayvon Thibodeaux in the rumor mill. However, there could be several teams in the mix. Although injuries have hindered his last two seasons, the former Oregon Duck is still young and has the talent to become a star for any organization. A fresh start might elsewhere be what he needs at this point in his career.

In four seasons in the NFL, Thibodeaux has recorded 152 combined tackles (86 solo), 23.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. He has played 53 games in his career, but has missed 12 in the past two years.
