- LSU women's basketball dismantles Alabama – Score, highlights
BATON ROUGE — To create its first separation of the game, LSU women's basketball had to turn up the "show" factor.
After LSU and Alabama traded buckets for much of first seven-plus minutes, the Tigers began getting creative. Star guard Milaysia Fulwiley drove baseline inside then hit senior forward Amiya Joyner with a behind-the-back pass in tight quarters for an easy layup.
Next possession after a Joyner steal, sophomore point guard Jada Richard faked out the trailing Alabama defenders with a no-look pass to Joyner for another easy layup. Through the highlight plays, LSU built a six-point lead and never looked back, gradually stretching the lead out throughout the rest of the game to defeat the Crimson Tide, 103-63.

LSU (21-2, 7-2 SEC) has now won seven straight conference games, longest active win streak in the SEC.
The Tigers outscored Alabama 28 to 14 in the second quarter as their defense took over, forcing 11 turnovers and turning those into 15 points.
Junior star guard Mikaylah Williams came alive in that quarter, scoring 11 of her 15 points to fuel LSU's big 49-29 halftime lead.
Alabama (19-4, 5-4) was known for its defense coming into the game, holding teams to just 55 points per game. But thanks to a balanced attack, the Tigers were able to find plenty of room to operate to allow four players to score double figures and eight total to score eight points or more. As a team, LSU shot 56% from the floor, one of its better shooting performances during its seven-game win streak.
Richard led LSU with 16 points and freshman forward ZaKiyah Johnson recorded 15 with 10 rebounds. Fulwilley finished with 10 points.
