The Orlando Magic face the Boston Celtics on Sunday night, and the injury report takes center stage with both teams managing key absences . The Magic enter at 45–36, No. 7 in the Eastern Conference, riding a five-game win streak as it looks to lock in NBA Play-In positioning . Meanwhile, the Celtics sits comfortably at 55–26, No. 2 in the East , having already clinched the No. 2 seed and the Atlantic Division while preparing to close out the regular season.

The stakes are clear for the Magic. A win guarantees at least a No. 7 finish. If the Raptors lose, the Magic could climb to No. 6. However, a loss combined with a Sixers win would drop them to No. 8. Because of that, every possession carries weight. Momentum matters. Execution matters even more.
Magic vs. Celtics injury report
The Magic's injury report remains manageable but worth monitoring . Wendell Carter Jr. is available despite a nasal fracture and will play with a face mask. Meanwhile, Jett Howard and Jonathan Isaac are both listed as questionable due to lower-body injuries. Their availability could impact Orlando's rotation depth as the team pushes for NBA Play-In seeding.
On the other side, the Celtics enter with a lengthy injury report , which benefits the Magic. They have ruled out Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown , along with Neemias Queta . Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard are listed as doubtful, while Derrick White is also out. As a result, Boston is expected to rely heavily on its depth pieces in the final game.

The contrast is notable. Orlando has everything to play for and carries strong momentum into the matchup. Boston, meanwhile, has already secured its position and appears focused on health heading into the postseason. So when it comes to this Magic vs. Celtics clash, the injury report could ultimately shape both the rotation and the outcome in a high-stakes regular-season finale.
