Wherever LeBron James ends up for his 24th NBA season is anyone's guess. He is apparently leaving the meeting process up to his long-time agent, Rich Paul. The Golden State Warriors , Cleveland Cavaliers , Minnesota Timberwolves , Miami Heat , and Philadelphia 76ers are each interested .
Meanwhile, the Warriors haven't signed a free agent yet. Thus, a possible sign that they are leaving a spot open for James, per Anthony Slater of ESPN.
"On the James front, Warriors sources continue to express a low level of optimism that James will ultimately pick them as his next team, but they intend to keep roster space open for James until he ultimately declares his choice," Slater wrote.

Previously, the Warriors were among the teams interested in Rui Hachimura and Anfernee Simons . Ultimately, Hachimura signed a two-year, $28 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers . Meanwhile, Simons signed a two-year, $12.3 million deal with the 76ers.
All the while, momentum continues to grow for the Cavs to bring James back to his roots. Nevertheless, the Warriors may be putting themselves in a bind if they are willing to make sacrifices for LeBron, per Nick Friedell of The Athletic.
"A LeBron commitment was always a Hail Mary for a Warriors team that can improve itself only on the margins unless it's willing to include future first-round picks in a potential deal," Friedell wrote. "The challenge for Mike Dunleavy and his staff is that several of the players they may have had interest in are slowly coming off the board while everyone waits to see what LeBron decides".
So far, LeBron is taking his time.
