Baltimore's quarterback room took one more hit before the short week. Tyler Huntley is headed to injured reserve after tests showed his turf toe will end his season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter , a day before the Baltimore Ravens host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night. Huntley joins Lamar Jackson, who landed on IR with a thumb injury after getting hurt on the first offensive snap in Buffalo.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Huntley will have surgery to repair the toe, comparing it to Joe Burrow's injury from last year. That leaves the start Thursday to undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, who was already named the starter on Tuesday.

Huntley kept the offense steady while Jackson nursed a high ankle sprain. He went 1-2 in three starts, beginning with a 30-23 overtime win in Atlanta, and finished the season 76 of 110 for 727 yards with four touchdown passes and one interception. He also ran for a score. His 95.5 passer rating was solid for a backup, though the Ravens scored 10 and 13 points in his two losses. According to PFF, his 55.0 overall grade in the Week 7 loss to Cincinnati was his low point.
He was hurt in the second quarter Sunday after going 2 of 4 for no yards in relief of Jackson.
Fagnano finished that 36-10 loss 10 of 21 for 91 yards with an interception and a lost fumble in his NFL debut , and he practiced Tuesday with a brace on his right ankle. "Every game you got bumps and bruises," Fagnano said, via ESPN . "It feels good, though." He'll be only the second undrafted rookie quarterback to start for the Ravens in their 32-year history.
Behind him are two quarterbacks who weren't on the roster a week ago. Baltimore signed Austin Reed to its practice squad Monday, then signed Kedon Slovis off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad to the active roster, according to Yahoo Sports . None of the six veteran quarterbacks we listed Sunday has been signed, and the 4-4 Ravens have three straight losses and a Jaguars defense that sacked Colts quarterbacks five times on 23 pressures last week, according to PFF. With the Nov. 10 trade deadline six days away, Huntley's injury adds pressure on Baltimore to trade for a veteran.
