π Aaron Rodgers ' vintage "Mario" leap celebration after Calvin Austin 's game-winning touchdown went viral on social media. The NBC broadcast somehow didn't capture the epic moment from Rodgers.
π NFL Films had Mike Tomlin mic'd up for the Steelers-Ravens game on Sunday night.
"The field goal kicker is 1 for 4 from plus 50. But we still can't be f***ing around. We've got to win this early," Tomlin told the defense before the Ravens' final drive of the game.
π Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers became the first player to catch two touchdowns of 50-plus yards in the fourth quarter of a game since Baltimore Colts WR Roger Carr in 1978, according to ESPN Research.
π According to Next Gen Stats, T.J. Watt had a pressure percentage of 18.8 against the Baltimore Ravens .
π Since 2020, the Steelers are 10-3 against the Ravens including playoffs. They are 8-1 straight up as an underdog. The Ravens have out-gained the Steelers in eight of those 13 games, however, Pittsburgh has won the turnover battle in eight of 13.
π The Texans are 6-8 all-time in the playoffs. They are 0-6 on the road in playoff games.
π Mina Kimes and Marcus Spears of ESPN think the Texans' defense will give the Steelers fits.
"Dan [Orlovsky] and I are All-Pro voters and I put I think four or five Texans defenders on my list," Kimes said. " Kamari Lassiter , he might be the best tackling corner in the entire damn NFL. Aaron Rodgers, you're going to have to push the ball downfield because dink and dunk does not work against this team."
"I don't think the Steelers are a threat," Spears added. "I'm actually terrified for 'em. This Texans team, I don't think you want to play against them as an offense. That's the problem against Houston , you just don't have time. You better come up with the best game-plan you ever came up with."
π Monday marked the 23-year anniversary of the Steelers' 36-33 win over the Cleveland Browns in the AFC Wild Card Game at Heinz Field.
