PITTSBURGH —With Aaron Rodgers in the cockpit, young Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar are trying to progress and show why they could be the team's future at the position. The pair threw alongside Rodgers and Mason Rudolph during Thursday's OTA practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, which you can see here .
Howard and Allar are also working through first-year head coach Mike McCarthy's vaunted signal-caller school, a course that quarterbacks coach Tom Arth lauded on Wednesday.
"It's time tested. It's proven," Arth said. "Obviously, you know the star players that Coach has had an opportunity to work with and help develop in Brett (Favre) and Aaron (Rodgers) and Dak (Prescott)."
