As the 2025-26 college basketball season winds down, the sport will crown a new champion on Monday night in Indianapolis . And after that, the offseason fun begins.
The main attraction in the offseason will be the transfer portal. This year, the portal opens on April 7th, allowing teams to contact players and add them to their roster. Players have already declared to enter the portal as the season was winding down in March.
For North Carolina they enter this week without a head coach. They moved on from Hubert Davis and have yet to find the next man in charge. That puts a wrinkle in things in terms of the transfer portal and making additions.
As we always do, we will track all the moves for North Carolina in this busy cycle.
