Adams was blocking on a 4-yard reception by tight end C.J. Dipree, and was hit from behind by a Missouri defender. Adams was helped off the field by the training staff. He was later carted off the field with a boot on his left foot.
Adams was Alabama 's primary punt returner and served as a backup slot receiver for Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice .
Adams left Alabama's win against South Florida and missed the Wisconsin game with an arm injury.
In 2024, Adams had six receptions for 94 yards. Colin Gay covers Alabama football for The Tuscaloosa News, part of the USA TODAY Network. Reach him at cgay@gannett.com or follow him @_ColinGay on X, formerly known as Twitter.
