Baylor versus Auburn could be the game of the week.
This 1000% has fourth quarter chaos game of week potential written all over it, and I'm gonna tell you why.
You've seen it a million times before.
Someone picks a guy to be the SEC preseason number one quarterback, and he implodes in on himself like a dying star, and then everybody gets fired, and everyone transfers, and that quarterback goes to Baylor, where the head coach there only still has a job because the AD got himself in hot water, and he got fired before he could fire the head coach the year before.
And then they go to Atlanta, even though the game was supposed to be on home campus at Jordan-Hare Stadium, but they moved it so they could make more money, and that quarterback a year later fulfills on his potential.
We've all seen it happen.
It, we, it's happened a million times.
This would just be a million and one.
Now, for those of you who don't understand the therapy session you just walked in on, I believed, past tense, in DJ Lagway.
I had him ranked the number one SEC quarterback last year.
He imploded in on himself like a dying star.
He would say it's a lot more because of his surroundings than his own personal performance.
My words, not his.
I still haven't forgotten the LSU game.
So the range of outcomes for DJ Lagway, now starting quarterback at Baylor, are as wide as your eyes can see on the horizon.
There is homeless over here.
There's Heisman over here.
Anything and everything is in play.
