Next up, Florida.
I think Florida would shock people if they made the playoffs.
And to me, the argument for Florida is a mixture of talent and de- and, schedule.
I mean, you got the talent piece in that, hey, if Aaron Philo and Buster Faulkner are like, if that entire dynamic clicks and quarterback is not a weakness for Florida, then that wide receiver room's nasty.
That tailback room's nasty.
We'll see about offensive line.
But the second part of that is if that talent, if those talent ingredients come together, their schedule, when you start walking through it a little bit, you know they start 2-0, and then you kinda say, "All right, they go to Auburn."
Now, that's gonna be a hard fought game.
But if they win that Auburn game and they start 3-0, they catch Ole Miss right after Ole Miss played LSU.
Very vulnerable Ole Miss team.
Could be 4-0 'cause they get them in The Swamp.
And then they go to Missouri, and then they got South Carolina at home.
And candidly, at that point, if you're a Florida fan, you're thinking, "We outclass both of those teams from a roster standpoint.
We, we could be 6-0 headed to Austin, Texas on October 17th."
And buddy, who does Texas play the week before?
They play the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Shootout, known by no other name on this show.
Like there's a world where Florida starts 6-1, 7-0 if everything were to align, and then there's a bye week and they play Georgia, and all of a sudden you're talking about going into Halloween with Florida squarely in the playoff mix.
