Florida State's opening win didn't inspire for upcoming 'disaster' schedule

I really thought that Florida State would pull their spine out.
I think they had every motivation to do it.
I think they had every intention to do it.
And if you watched this game, like I did, what was most alarming is just how relatively evenly matched the teams looked for a lot of the night.
The better team won here.
Florida State is a superior team.
I thought it would be end first quarter 21-nothing.
Go to half 42-3.
I expected that because there won't be a lot of those opportunities this year for Florida State.
And so I expected it, and it didn't happen, and I don't think it's because somebody was overlooking someone.
I just don't think Florida State's team is that good.
I don't think that offensive line is anything worth writing home about.
Ashton Daniels, again, those who Flo- those who follow Florida State closely, like, you guys kind of understand how that happened.
You can talk him up all you want to, the, the coaching staff, not the fans.
But he, he's a backup, backup, backup, backup, backup option relative to what you kind of wanted but didn't properly understand what it would take to get or probably did understand what it would take to get and didn't have what it took to get better quarterbacks.
So haven't changed opinion, probably only fortified opinion that playing SMU and then in Tuscaloosa and then home for Virginia and then at Louisville, at Miami, and Clemson by Halloween is a recipe for disaster as we currently look at Florida State.
