Looking at Baker's cost, he's what?
Down in the 20s?
Like- Yeah Fernando Mendoza, Bryce Young, Cam Ward, I mean, all those guys have higher quarterback ADPs.
What, what are we doing here?
I know.
I don't, I don't quite understand.
I think the-- But I guess I can understand the, the thought process for a lot of drafters in that, yeah, this was a completely broken offense in 2025.
You and I have talked about the, I would say, square peg, round hole type situation for Ebuka last year.
Mike Evans also being hurt, Bucky Irving being hurt.
Offensively, everybody was hurt, including Baker Mayfield.
So between him being hurt, his protection being hurt, his pass catchers also being hurt, I mean, this is the contributions that lead to a down season.
So now if you're telling me that he's healthy, most of his pass catch is healthy, we'll see about the toe thing with Ebuka, and then also, really the only wild card is what can we expect from Zach Robinson, but this is the same guy that, I mean, both of them were in LA when Baker Mayfield started his little comeback tour with the Rams.
Also uses a lot of QB-friendly concepts a la like Dave Canales and some of the other guys that Baker Mayfield has worked with in the past.
I mean, all these things sound like these are ways that the Bucs passing game or just the offense in general can get back to what it was when Baker was a larger part of the MVP conversation
