Next, well same game but on the Bucs side of things here again.
This is from Nathan, from PFF.
Bucky Irving started this game, ran on each of the first three plays for 14 yards.
After that, he left the game before the rest of the starters, didn't come back 'cause then Kenneth Gainwell took over for the final two plays of the first drive.
Played all three snaps on the second drive, then exited along with the rest of the Bucs starters.
I'm just curious, how do you feel about this backfield right now, Scott?
'Cause I started the off-season thinking I was totally out on Bucky Irving, but now I've really warmed up to Bucky Irving actually as a solid running back two here.
I think the Sean Tucker concerns are a little overblown.
I kinda think the Kenny Gainwell concerns are a little overblown too.
Like, yes, he will be involved on passing downs.
Bucky won't have a lot of receiving work.
But this offensive line might be a top three offensive line in the NFL.
Clearly top five.
It's a really good unit.
Baker Mayfield is a solid enough quarterback.
Looking, looking trim by the way, Baker.
What's, what's the diet these days?
They got good receivers.
Emeka Egbuka might have a little bit of a toe in- he's got a turf toe injury maybe.
I don't know.
He-- They haven't confirmed that, but still it's a good receiving corps.
I kinda want the starting running back for this offense, and that starting running back is Bucky Irving going at a pretty solid ADP.
So do you agree or disagree, on my note about Bucky Irving?
I'm sure I have a lot of fade stuff out in the Yahoo!
Streets already on Irving, but because his ADP seems to keep falling and the offensive line is as good as you say, Tucker's still a bit player.
I still think Tucker might be the best third running back in the league, but doesn't matter, he's blocked.
And Gainwell is one specific role that he carries, right?
I mean, he's never a threat to take on the full workload.
So I think the f- the fade has gone so far that Irving has actually become a value.
I also wanna say that Jalen McMillan I think has been a screaming draft value in this wide receiver room.
