Will Eli Manning Struggle to Enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame?
Eli Manning's Hall of Fame pursuit is tight, mirroring peers like Roethlisberger and soon, Tom Brady. Is Eli Manning a Hall of Fame quarterback or not?

Do you think Eli Manning will have one of the tougher times trying to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, especially with some of the names that are coming up?
Roethlisberger's coming up as well.
I mean, are we gonna be here a while for Eli Manning, especially with a lot of the names that are coming up?
It really doesn't look very good for him getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, especially with the current system.
No, I, I think it's gonna be difficult.
And, you know, these two years that he's been eligible, you know, we When we're voting, we have 15 finalists, and we red- it's reduced to 10 before we get to seven, and he hasn't even made the reduction to 10 the last two years.
Next year Ben Roethlisberger comes in.
You know, Philip Rivers would've been in this past c- or, or in this class that we're, you know, gonna be considering, but by him playing, that pushed That, that gave him another five years.
But, you know, coming down in a few years is gonna be Tom Brady.
So yeah, I th- I think it's gonna be tough for Eli, and I think people look at it and say, "It's not enough just to be on two Super Bowl-winning teams.
Your whole body of work is a big part of it."
And he was a very good quarterback, but there are some believe that what he did over the course of his entire career didn't rise to a Hall of Fame level.
Yeah, I mean, if you look at his record, I mean, he's won 17 and 1, 17 and 1.
I mean, the last 10 years of his career, Howard, I mean, they were under 500 as a starting quarterback.
And again, like you said, I mean, I get it, the two Super Bowl MVPs, the two Super Bowls.
You know, Jim Plunkett has won two Super Bowls, and he also won an MVP.
He was a Rookie of the Year back in the day.
So especially like you said, with the way you guys are pinned in right now, boy, I gotta tell you, I think it's gonna be a really tough putt there.
