OBJ's iconic catch was a 'double-edged sword'

I mean, but of course, you made your name Sunday Night Football here, NBC, with the, the greatest catch I've ever seen, the greatest catch most- mostly anybody's ever seen.
All right?
Do you, like everybody else, do you associate that play as your best play of your career, or is there another play that you would put up there with it?
You know, there's some other plays that I, I enjoy more than the catch, because I think the catch was, a double-edged sword.
You know, it put me on the, on the world map, you know, allowed kids who They come up to me and they're like, "You changed recess forever."
and I know I changed the culture as far as I'm not the first person to ever have a one-hand catch and, y- you know, a catch like that, which I think took a lot of hard work, practice, and also talent.
And, and everything in life is about timing, that being Sunday Night Football.
There's some other plays that I enjoy, you know, taking slants to the crib for 60, 70 yards, you know, splitting the defenses.
You know, a left-handed catch down the sideline against Washington.
And some other, you know, one-hand catches and plays that were, in my book, very difficult.
But being able to have a play, like, you, you look back to a Jordan or a LeBron, and LeBron chase down block or, you know, these other moments that he has, or Jordan the crossover- Yeah w- with the shot against the Jazz.
Right.
And, not everybody has those moments.
No matter how iconic or, or great they are, not everybody has those moments and the timing.
And to then see the schedule and then how it played out, and then to be like, "All right, we're gonna play Sunday Night Football against the Cowboys."
You know, God willing, I'm just, I'm just working hard to, to, to earn myself a spot.
A- and I know what I'm capable of doing.
A- and I think, you know, once you get to the season and it's not so much training camp, and you feel like you have an identity o- of who this team needs you to be, it, it's a lot easier than just kind of, you know, being everywhere and just, You, you go from a starter to, you know, the green light guy who's always getting the ball to, you know, playing the background a little bit, and that, that hasn't been easy, but I feel like I've handled it well.
A- and now I'm just praying that, you know, all of my dreams come true and, and I get this opportunity to do, what I love, w- whether it's one more year or, you know, however long God blesses me to do it.
That's, that's really where my focus is.
Well, I'm glad you're back.
I know that.
And I'm glad you're back with the Giants, that's for sure.
Now, I do blame you for a lot of hard conversations with my son and other kids for that damn one-handed catch, which you kinda- Yeah.
Yeah.
Catch the ball with two hands first.
Odell did that first before he went there.
Yeah.
You started a whole rash of, you know, craziness there.
