Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list pending an investigation into alleged domestic violence charges.

All right, let's get to Green Bay, where Josh Jacobs was placed on the commissioner's exempt list while facing misdemeanor charges of battery and damage to property stemming from a May arrest.
Jacobs cannot play or practice while on the exempt list.
Our Rob Demovsky has more from Green Bay.
Rhett, at least the Packers have time before their season opener at Minnesota on September 13th to come up with a plan to replace Jacobs.
Coach Matt LaFleur and offensive coordinator Adam Stenovich are not likely to make it a one-for-one replacement, especially when you consider their running back room right now.
They have MarShawn Lloyd, the third-year back, who has played in exactly one NFL game in his first two seasons because of myriad injuries.
However, Lloyd got through training camp healthy.
It may be the longest stretch that he's been healthy in his NFL career, but they're going to be cautious with how much work they give him.
Then they have veteran Chris Brooks, but he is more of a blocking third down back, and they just acquired Caleb Johnson from the Steelers on cut down day.
That might mean that Jordan Love will finally get to throw the ball a little bit more.
In Love's three years as a starter, the Packers have ranked fourth highest in designed run percentage.
But this year in training camp, they streamlined the offense, and Love has three targets that he has connected with on a regular basis: Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Matthew Golden.
Throw in the return of tight end Tucker Kraft from last year's ACL injury, and the best way to replace the loss of Josh Jacobs in the running game might be with the pass game.
