Like the Joseph Gross Gallery, Lionel Rombach is part of the University of Arizona Art complex, featuring works of art students both from U of A and university art departments nationally. There are always juried student exhibits there, mostly exploring new paths in a variety of media. Call or check the gallery website for dates and times. You cannot buy the art directly, but the staff will put you in contact with the artists if you are interested.
Mr. Heads Gallery and Bar is a place to find your favorite drink with our extensive collection of spirits. It's also a great place to find a beautiful piece of one of a kind artwork created by Tucson's local artists. With 100% of the art sales going straight back to the artist we get a wide range of art including everything from paintings to sculptures as well as jewelry and purses. We also have live music regularly and never charge a cover.
Located in the historic Steinfeld Warehouse, 7 Legged Spider Gallery offers opportunities for the emerging artist. Thursday nights we have Sip Stitch and B*tch a gathering to alter old clothes, make new things, learn new tools, all in a supportive creative space. First Friday Fotos is for the emerging artist to get their art photographed professionally. And Saturday it's a gallery all about the art.
