Wild Goose serves straightforward, world-class cocktails, seasonal beers and elevated pub grub in a space that’s cozy and casual with vintage décor reminiscent of a hunting lodge saloon. In addition to classically-crafted cocktails made using simple, yet high-quality ingredients, guests will find a select range of draught and bottled beer, as well as shelves stocked with single barrel whiskeys and small-batch spirits. Equally simple in concept, but rich in quality with locally-sourced fresh ingredients, the menu is comprised of artisanal burgers, exotic, locally-made sausage, and seasonal salads, among other like-fare. The decor here is definitely unique, with World War II paraphernalia and antique signs covering the walls among many other interesting artifacts. There are tons of beers from all over the world available, and it is a good thing because the dizzying decor may drive you to drink. There are several rooms, as well as an outdoor patio where one can soak up the Costa Mesa sun. It is a little bit of a dive bar, but the decor makes up for any seediness.

With a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere, you'll get a friendly and fun bartender no matter what time you stop in. Sorry, no beer on tap or food but you are more than welcome to bring in or have food delivered without leaving the comfort of your stool! Patrick's Pub has enough flat screens to see all the games on Sunday and opens at 9:30 for NFL games.
