The Charlotte York Irey Theatre is located on the main floor of the west wing of the University Theatre Building. The Charlotte York Irey Theatre (Studio 150) is an intimate studio theatre in the west wing of the building where we hold many of our dance performances. Arrive early to choose a great seat in this general admission venue.
Founded in 1996, Rocky Mountain Theatre For Kids gives students, beginner and experienced alike, a professional theater experience as well as the unique opportunity to study theatre in a true workshop environment. This means an in depth, personal, and holistic perspective on the crafting of theatre. We believe that emphasizing the personal and artistic process in performance is crucial to creating a theatrical piece of true substance and integrity. We strive to create an environment where both the creative process and a professional product are emphasized.
At Groundworks Art Lab, art is for everyone. Everyone who feels a call to create, express an idea, or channel an emotion is welcome to come through our doors and make something all their own. Whether you want to find your flow in ceramics or bang away in our blacksmith shop, we carve out space for people to connect—to themselves, to elemental materials, to raw creativity, and to one another. From first-timers to full-blown professionals, everyone is invited to explore, experiment, and make something real. We believe art unlocks something essential in each of us. And we’re here to make sure everyone can get their hands on it.
