Our accredited teachers adhere to the highest standards of the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) syllabus to educate and expand knowledge of dance in the community. Our classes provide technical training, rhythm, musicality, artistic self-expression, discipline, a nurturing environment, and performance opportunities to enhance the dancers' abilities and confidence. Progress is measured annually through the R.A.D.'s examinations, allowing dancers and parents to monitor growth and development. At The Royal Academy of Ballet, we aim to expand each dancer's aptitude and passion for dance, all while having fun!
Hawaii Dance Bomb offers kids and adults dance classes for all ages. We have 3 studio locations, King St, Kaimuki and Kaneohe. We also run Silent Disco events throughout the islands for kids Birthday parties, private parties, school fairs, fundraisers, school dances and end of semester events. We welcome people to come as they are. We know that most people love to dance but feel intimidated to go to classes incase they look silly. We want to invite anyone that bops to music at home, to come and dance with us. Our goal is to create community on the dance floor, sweat, laugh, and dance! We want to teach people that no one really cares what they look like, their way is the right way, and they can't get it wrong! For our kids classes, we value creativity, personality and style. We want to help kids find their own style before they grow up and inhibition kicks in. We want them to feel free to jump around and be comfortable in how they move and not feel judged. We love playing interactive dance games with them that challenge quick thinking, co-ordination skills, agility and comradery. We love getting the kids to input their ideas into the choreography and we always perform for parents at the end of the semester.
