Our Mission: Spartan Fit Center and Spartan Dance Center, in one location, provide a wide variety of fitness and dance to promote a fun atmosphere for working out. Our Benefits: Members will be able to choose from all fitness and dance classes at both the Fit Center and Dance Center. We offer membership rates, single class prices, and unlimited daily, weekly, or monthly class rates. Members receive 15% off our Jr. Spartan children’s dance classes at the Dance Center.

Happendance School offers a learning-centered environment, where dance is taught as a holistic, developmentally-appropriate process connecting technical skills and creative expression. Classes are of reasonable size, affording the professionally-trained faculty the opportunity to maximize personal attention, including helping students to learn how to establish and achieve goals that match their personal interests, age, and physical development. Happendance is also home to the professional dance company, Velocity, and has a thriving outreach program in the Pre-K-12th grade public schools and after-care programs. After 40+ years, Happendance remains true to this unique philosophy of dance education, encouraging the recreational and/or professional dancer to enhance skills important to personal growth through the art of dance.
Suzanne Wingate specializes in two-hour classical ballet classes for adults, as well as two-hour hatha yoga classes with guided visualization/chakra clearing, depending on class member preference. The ballet classes take a comparative approach among several schools of ballet, given the diverse background of the studio founder.
