All of our activities are designed to encourage performers at every skill level to grow. The students will increase flexibility, improve coordination, focus on muscle strengthening, build poise, and have fun! All of our instructors have the experience in both teaching and performing to teach students the skills needed to pursue a career as a true artist, as well as the compassion to help push them toward their goals and build their self-confidence. We are currently offering classes in: Tap Jazz/Contemporary Ballet Hip-Hop Acrobatics Adult classes in Ballet. New students can come try a free class to make sure that the class, teacher, and schedule all work out in the best interest of our students and their families. Private lessons also available.

All classes are 90 minutes, starting with a 30 minute abdominal workout followed by one hour of dance. The basic belly dance movements are broken down in detail and then combined into a short dance routine. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced workshops are offered during the week and every Sunday 12:00-1:30pm is an open class. Eight week workshops: cost $160. Sunday class: cost $20.

Shehnaaz Dance Academy is a Jersey City based Bollywood Indian Dance Academy teaching children and adults. Weekly Bollywood dance classes are held at Performing Arts Studio in downtown Jersey City. We offer enrichment classes at local schools in Jersey City such as PS16, PS37, etc. We are also available for private dance lessons to make all your occasions memorable.
