Since its founding in 1956, the Tulsa Ballet has become a Tulsa tradition. Currently under the leadership of Marcello Angelini, the company produces four to five major events per year, including an annual performance of “The Nutcracker” during the Christmas holiday season. They have also performed in 30 states, and they recruit dancers from around the world. Performances are held at the beautiful Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
Located in downtown Tulsa's Greenwood District, ONEOK Field is the home ballpark of minor league baseball's Tulsa Drillers. Since opening in 2010, the stadium's Art Deco architecture pays tribute to not only the city's baseball past, but to the neighborhood the park is located in. Currently an affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Driller home games occur here from April until September, although private events are held at the ballpark throughout the year.
