The Koch Immersive Theater, is an integral part of the Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science. In this stunning theater, visitors can explore and rediscover our amazing planet and universe. At the Theater, one can enjoy traditional planetarium shows as well as full-dome digital films. The latest 40-foot dome facility features a unique type of seating, along with a 10,000-watt digital surround sound system, and imagery, resulting in an out of the world experience to the visitors. An experience of space is more about flying in space than watching a movie. The theater presents matinee shows from Tuesday through Sunday, and evening shows on Thursday, and the first Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The theater provides wheel chair facilities and assisted listening devices to visitors with special needs. Kindly contact the museum staff for assistance.
