A total of 10 paintings donated by Theodore Thieme in 1921 marked the beginning of Fort Wayne Museum Of Art. This is the place to be if you wish to learn about history of art in America and explore some great artworks for yourself while in the city. A wide range of workshops and classes are also hosted at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on a regular basis. The different temporary and permanent exhibitions here display artworks of talented artists from around the globe.
Since 1983, the Orchard Gallery is dedicated completely providing the artists a stage to showcase their creation and earn their livelihood thereby. There is always a resident artist present through the gallery's working hours to help you to solve your queries and guide you into purchasing the correct art piece. The gallery holds several art exhibitions through the year, largely showcasing the work of local artists. The kind of art displayed is clay-work, jewelry, painting, fabric, photography, wood working and sculpture. The recognized names that have displayed their work here are Ales Pancner, Paula Crill, Suzi Emley and Renata Pancner.

Artlink holds 8 original exhibitions in the main gallery and 8 exhibitions in the hallway gallery which features member artists. The Artist Panel is responsible for the exhibition schedule. The exhibition schedule is planned two years in advance while the hallway gallery is scheduled a year out. The workshops can be taken for credit. For more information regarding any workshops please visit the Classes & Workshop page.Figure drawing sessions with nude model are offered Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-10pm. The sessions are open to all serious artists over 18 for a nominal fee of $2 an hour.Artlink sells member artist work in our gift shop all year. Wunderkammer Company is an art-friendly space that plays host to a wide range of art exhibitions displaying experimental and modern art that you will not find at any other gallery in the city. The intimate setting at this art gallery allows the visitors to interact with the artists and learn about the journey of their artwork.
