This studio is dedicated to teach SAORI weaving, which originated in Japan. It is a contemporary freestyle weaving. Mihoko is a official trainee to teach people who want to open their own SAORI studio. SAORI is a trademark for the manufacture and the teaching method. Mihoko is making efforts to teach this method and the techniques deeper level as a whole by leading a Japan tour, organizing exhibitions and community services.

Our unique Refillery has put us on the map as Worcester's first! The Refillery @ 78 is located inside our center, where community members can access eco-friendly and sustainable goods in bulk for refill, as well as stock up on sustainable alternatives to single use items. We aim to promote environmental stewardship and encourage conscious consumerism. We envision BCAW as more than just a center—it's a neighborhood favorite, a place where people can come together to nourish their minds, bodies, and spirits. Jubilee Career Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit after-school organization, I am proud to lead a unique initiative. Our mission is to bring Art, Education, and Inner Healing to youth and their families, addressing their social, emotional, and intellectual development through the arts and education. I feel this unique approach sets us apart in our field. We offer children, youth, and families opportunities to receive high-quality after-school and summer programming, education, and exposure to cultural, classical, visual, and performing arts and inner healing through collaborations and social networks. JCCPA was conceived and launched in 2006 as an unincorporated organization by my son and me. We believe in the transformative power of the arts, which can be experienced by all children and adults. The arts are a way of finding healthy expression of feelings, thoughts, emotions, and ideas. We desired to create safe and nurturing spaces for this to happen, inspiring hope and transformation.
