The Halcyone Ewalt Perlman School of Ballet was established by her parents in 1933. Upon the death of her mother, in 1967, Ms Perlman became the owner and artistic director of the performance wing of the school known as Mid Missouri Dance Theatre. Recently it has been known as the Perlman-Stoy School of Ballet. This school has consistently brought the art of dance to Columbia, and mid Missouri. Our goals are to inspire, educate and bring the joy of dance and movement to our students. We teach students from beginning level to professional level. Our students receive individual support and guidance. In this positive atmosphere we educate our students to be confident, self assured, self aware dancers. We emphasize the physical and emotional well-being of our students. We have seven levels of training in the school.1 class per week, for a semester (16 weeks) = 264$2 classes per week, for a semester (16 weeks) = 488.48$3 classes per week, for a semester (16 weeks) = 679.20$4 classes per week, for a semester (16 weeks) =841.28$5 classes per week, for a semester (16 weeks) = 979.04$ Private lessons are 60$ per lesson.Students will rarely incur any extra fees for concerts, rehearsals, or costumes.
