This three-story, 42-room estate cost half a million dollars when it was built by successful St. Louis businessman Samuel Cupples in 1889. The purple sandstone mansion features elaborate Romanesque architecture and boasts 22 fireplaces, five centuries of fine art, finely curved woodwork and some of the home's original furniture. Tours of the historic Samuel Cupples House, which was donated to St. Louis University in 1942, are conducted Tuesday through Saturday. Special tours in foreign languages and for the hearing or sight impaired can be prearranged by telephone. The mansion is closed during the month of January.

The mission of the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum is to educate the public about photographic history, preserve historical items and images, and honor significant contributors to the evolution of the art and science of photographic imaging. Founded in 1965, the IPHF recently relocated to the Grand Center Arts District in St. Louis, Missouri from Oklahoma City. The IPHF exhibits prints and antique cameras from the permanent collection, and hosts special exhibitions focusing on the art and science of photography. Educational outreach is conducted through the IPHF quarterly journal, which highlights one Hall of Fame Inductee in each publication, along with articles relating to special exhibitions and the permanent collection. With over 30,000 photographic images and more than 6,000 cameras in its permanent collection, you are sure to see something new every time you visit the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.
The Moto Museum exists due to owner and founder Steve Smith’s undying passion for vintage and unique motorbikes.
