Osvaldo De Leon Music Studio

"Where there is a passion for music, there is a passion for teaching music! I am a pianist and vocal coach who loves to provide motivation and guidance to anyone who loves music. I have been teaching for 12 years, and I work wonderfully well with students age 5 and up, including adolescents and adults. My teaching style relies on discipline, motivation, patience and a good dose of humor. I strongly believe that bringing a sense of fun to the lessons enhances the learning experience. Although my emphasis is in classical music, I enjoy and promote the performance of all sorts of genres, from jazz to blues and from musicals to movie soundtracks. I am fluent both in Spanish and English.

Music City Academy

Music City Academy aims to provide quality, caring and inspiring music lessons to students to help them realize their music aspirations, so that we can hopefully grow with them. Since the new management took over in late 2007, the front desk has been manned by a middle-aged couple who work closely with parents and teachers to confirm scheduling/make-up of lessons and ensure the needs of students are met. Twice a year, a student recital is held and students and teachers are invited to perform. There is no costs to the students and each participant receives a certificate and a souvenir for their participation. The 2010 spring recital was successfully held in April with support of some 60 students and teachers. We also offer studio rental on hourly basis for practice, jamming and teaching purposes. Rental starts at $15 per hour depending on number of users and usage.
