*Seattle Cello Lessons* "Exploring a new era for the cello! Classical training with an emphasis on popular styles and new music." I teach out of my private home studios in Green Lake, Seattle and Woodinville on the Eastside. My approach as a teacher is broad with roots in tradition and the classics but with a leaning towards modern and popular styles of cello playing that welcomes improvisation and exploration off the page. I am a classically trained musician who has broken free. My goal is to help you develop a strong foundation (classical and beyond!) from which to experience the freedom to explore the instrument in a way that fits your personality and vision.
My goal of teaching musical instruments with my students is to make them musicians. And to have fun learning music!
