Atlanta Guitar Academy will take you though a course that is every bit as good as the best guitar programs in the nation, but at a fraction of the price! The curriculum was written by David Poole, who also authored the curriculum for the scales department at AIM. David was AIM’s scales instructor for a decade. He also taught classes at AIM such as classical(levels 1, 2, 3, and 4), Scales(1,2, 3, and 4), Rock 3, Reading(1, 2, 3, and 4), Notation, Rock Performance, Jazz Performance. This course is a two year program broken up into four levels, consisting of 4 six month sessions. You can take a look at the syllabus to see the classes that are in the program. At the end of Level four, the student will receive a certificate that is highly valued saying that they completed one of the most challenging music development programs in the state. And for the students who are not quite ready to get the most out of these classes because of age or inexperience, we have a junior course that will lead up to the level one of the program. We also offer private lessons in guitar, bass, piano, voice, and songwriting. All ages and all experience levels welcome!
