Serious about Music. Serious about Fun. Brooklyn Music Factory students can take private lessons (piano, guitar, bass, drums and voice) and/or join one of 20 bands, where we teach music through carefully designed games that take the monotony and boredom out of learning music. All of our students have fun while developing key musical skills and qualities, including confidence, communication, creativity. We firmly believe that making music with other people is an integral part of understanding music, so our students have regular opportunities to play with others and are constantly motivated to continue developing as musicians. Our musicians perform regularly at public venues, including Littlefield, Splitty, and Rock Shop.
There are many guitar teachers all over the world. Most of them apply a "one size fits all" curriculum that is pretty hit or miss when it comes to your rate of progress. This kind of approach is relatively ineffective. Alex's students have spanned from five years old to over sixty. Over the years he has taught a vast array of styles from beginner to advanced. Having began teaching guitar only six months into his playing, Alex is in a unique position to really empathize with his students at every level. He really knows what you are going through and will lead the way! Premium guitar instruction & artist health coaching. All ages and styles welcome!
The Music Inn specializes in exotic and rare instruments, parts and instruction for them, from all around the world. They also make their own original design instruments and computer programs for musicians. NyAsa, the worlds first electronic sympathizer, is a computer program which provides sympathetic responses in one of many voices or instruments to any melody or selected tone. No matter what style of music you play, what instrument, even if you are a singer, you can now enjoy sympathetic accompaniment. The S.D. Limulus Electric Zarode , guitar and basses, built exclusively at the Music Inn, are pioneering not only the next logical step in the evolution of both the traditional sarode and the electric guitar but electric string instrument design in general. The Music Inn Comics, written and draw in the store, provide an unusual insight into this fascinating store and crew in a world wrought with wonder. vist us at www.musicinnonline.com for more info
The Drum Den started as a small drum shop with a robust drum lesson program. As demand grew, we expanded our offerings to include lessons in piano, guitar, bass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and even group band classes! Although we have reduced the retail space of our drum shop to accommodate more students, we continue to offer rentals, repairs, and sales of used and vintage drums.
