I am an experienced elementary teacher who has worked at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Zoo, and Adventure Science Center. Lessons are virtual, in-home, or in my studio. I specialize in teaching piano to beginners ages 3-12, and I offer tutoring sessions in Math, Reading, Writing, and Study Skills. I have 15 years of experience teaching and working with children in traditional and informal classroom settings. I have earned Best of Performance in the Indiana state piano competition and have played for over 10 years in churches. I also have experience in recording studios, stage bands, and composing music for film/tv. Fun fact, I was a professional actress for four years teaching about racism and prejudice themes throughout history. Children deserve the best part of us, and teaching is the best part of me. Thanks for reading!

This community center for music is heaven-sent for children and adults alike. Learn how to sing or play an instrument for nominal fees (normally less than one dollar). The center also holds concerts and performances.

We provide private one on one lessons. We don't teach from books, we write the best lesson plan for you to meet your goals. We host band camps for all ages and skill levels. Host recitals. Provide rehearsal space. Teach guitar, vocal, piano, bass, banjo, mandolin, uke, drums, didgeridoo and more. We don't just teach you the basics and then tell you to move on. If it is your desire we will walk you through each phase of being a musician. Performing, recording, facilitating, etc. So whether it's a new hobby or career let us help you achieve your dreams.
The Old Time Pickin Parlor is a specialty shop selling music instruments such as banjos, guitars, mandolins and other related accessories. If you are keen on buying vintage accessories, this shop has a collection of vintage items as well. Some chairs are placed in the center of the shop where shoppers can play the instruments before finally picking it up.
