Originally built in 1868, this historic railway hotel is now the home of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center. Constructed upon a Second Empire architectural design, the building was restored to its original appearance in the 1990s by a group of dedicated volunteers. Today, the grand, old building is home to art galleries showcasing the work of local and regional artists, the Cary Heritage Museum, classrooms, performance spaces, and varied venues for weddings and other private events. The center also hosts a vibrant cultural program of classes, summer camps and live performances.
