Hutchinson County Historical Museum has exhibits and artifacts ranging from the 16th century. Situated in an old building which was constructed in the year 1927, this museum is a great place to visit with your family and friends. There are exhibits on Geology, Paleontology and the development this town has been through after oil was discovered here in 1926.
Carson County Square House Museum, that opened in 1967 originated from a 1880s house. It is the core of the present-day Square House Museum complex and is a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark. In 1973, it was listed in the National Register. The museum exhibits art and artifacts pertaining to the history, culture and heritage of Panhandle.

The mission of the Dumas/Moore County Chamber of Commmerce is to provide leadership that promotes economic development of business and tourism in Moore County, as wellas support the civic interests that help enchance the quality of life for all citizens. The Dumas/Moore County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center represents more than 300 Businesses and Individuals. The organization is dedicated to providing leadership to create the best possible place in which to operate a business while enhancing the region as a desirable place to live, work and visit. We also welcome visitors to our area. Since opening the Visitor Center in 2003, over 30,000 visitors have been assisted.
