Director Emeritus Joan Davidow is the driving force behind the success of the Arlington Museum of Art. Situated within the Fine Arts building in the University of Texas Arlington, The Gallery At UT Arlington features a myriad of art installations by artists from around the state. Aimed at promoting contemporary art and providing young artists with a platform to showcase their talents, this gallery organizes a number of exhibitions throughout the year. Found here are varying installations from sculptures and pottery to canvas paintings, most of which are created by the students of the university.
