The Museum of the Southwest is more than just a museum, it houses three different unique buildings as well as a sculpture garden on the museum grounds. The art museum is always free and has over 12,000 works to its name with a focus on Southwestern and Native American art. The children's museum allows youngsters to has interesting and innovative interactive art displays, including drawing while on their backs like how Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. Exhibits range from Cubism, to Surrealism, to Pop Art and make learning about art and art history fun. The final building houses a planetarium sure to open up new experiences and ways to view the world to all who attend.
The McCormick Gallery, housed in the Allison Fine Arts Building on the campus of Midland College features works from student and non-student artists in its halls. The art decorates the hallways of the buildings and the works are changed regularly. Among the several exhibitions displayed is the Studio 3600 Series in which the works of student artists are showcased and can show some of their best and most formative art.

The Folger Gallery is dedicated to bringing fine art to connoisseurs. You can shop online or venture into the store to find your favorite art pieces.
